# Description

In The Flower Devour, you're trying to survive as a garden, while the evil gardener, who claims to be its owner, is trying to destroy it. You will use the abilities your plants have to your advantage. You will fight evil weeds that will take up your space and gain points by planting diverse specimens and creating beautiful patterns. The more points you gain, the better. The game has no specific end, so you can just try to gain as many points as possible.

# Instructions

You will be working with specimens on a 5x5 grid. Each turn consists of 3 phases:

* Nature phase - this is when time passes. All cooldowns and immunity periods get decreased by 1. At any point, if a cooldown on a plant reaches 0, you will gain the respective card. In nature phase, each Metaphor of Capitalism takes 1 point away from you and each plant (Capitalism included) with countdown larger than 2 takes (countdown - 5) points.

* Action phase - this is when you play cards. You gain cards from plants, as explained in the previous point. You can play as many cards as you want, but beware: after a card is played, the plant that gave it to you will require some time to regenerate.

* Gardener phase -  This is the part where he kills you. The Evil Gardener will strike in a way you expect the least, target one of your fields and brutally damage it. If the targeted field is empty, he will plant an evil weed - the scary and toxic Metaphor of Capitalism - which will take away your space. If the spot is occupied, however, he will put on a 5-turn long cooldown.

The plants and their effects:

* Spreadweed (green)

Gives you three plants to choose from. Then, you select an unoccupied field, where the chosen plant will be ordered to grow. The plant will be ready within 2 turns. 4 turns of cooldown.

* Luckbell (green)

Makes a chosen field immune to the Gardener's actions for 2 turns. 4 turns of cooldown.

* Violet Violence (red)

Decreases the cooldown on a chosen plant by 2.  3 turns of cooldown.

* Man Eater (red)

Clears a chosen field. 4 turns of cooldown.

* Greedfruit (blue)

Score (5 - countdown) for each of your non-capitalistic plants and (countdown - 2) for each Metaphor of Capitalism. Additionally, for each flower of the same species above the count of 3, lose 2 points (Capitalism included).

* Moonflower

Score a specific amount of points for each special color configuration on your grid. The configurations and prizes are to be discovered on your own : ). Have fun!

* Metaphor of Capitalism

Destroy the plant corresponding to the card.
